Kasuga Mountain 春日山
This mountain is near Nara. While the Kasuga Plains appear in a number of poems, Kasuga Mountain is used in only a handful. Because of the characters used to write the name, it is associated with spring.

A mountain near Nara, associated with its cedar trees (杉). Especially popularized by KKS 982.

A bay in Naniwa, near modern day Osaka. Often associated with reeds (葦).

Saya no Nakayama 小夜の中山
This is a mountain road in Omi province, known for its steepness. It often appears in poetry as a preface for nakanaka ni because of its name.
