在原元方
ありはらのもとかた (9th c.)
Primarily known for his poem at the head of the KKS; his poetry is marked by a “sterile wit” (according to McCullough). He had 14 poems in the KKS, 8 in the GSS, 2 in the SIS, and 8 in later collections. There seems to have been a collection of his poems at one time, but it has not survived.
