はじめて人につかはしける
人づてに いふ事のはの 中よりぞ 思つくばの 山は見えける

Analysis
This is a response sent by a woman, telling the man to come in person (全釈). Perhaps it was sent with a picture of Tsukuba Mountain (和歌大系).
「筑波山は葉山茂くて木間より見ゆれば、それをいひかけてかく人づてにいひやる詞に、我思ひつくほどは見ゆべしとの心なるべし」（八代集抄） However, the けり makes it seem like the one realizing things is the poet (新注). 和歌大系 supports the Kigin reading, I think?
