おとこのもとにつかはしける
唐錦 おしきわがなは たちはてゝ 如何せよとか 今はつれなき
Translation
Sent to a man
[Chinese brocade] I have completely gotten a regrettable reputation; how can you be so cold to me?

- 唐錦
- A pillow word for 立つ, because of 裁つ.「唐錦は裁つを惜しむ故、枕詞に云也」（八代集抄）
Analysis
The poet upbraids the man for neglecting her when he is the reason for her bad reputation. 「歌の心は君によりて浮名は立ちながら、君はつれなくなるは如何と也」（八代集抄）
