やまとうたは、人の心をたねとして、よろづのことの葉とぞなれりける、世中にある人ことわざしげきものなれば、心に思ふ事を見るものきく物につけていひいだせるなり、花になくうぐひす水にすむかはづの声をきけば、いきとしいけるものいづれか歌をよまざりける、ちからをもいれずしてあめつちをうごかし、めに見えぬおに神をもあはれとおもはせ、おとこ女のなかをもやはらげ、たけきものゝふの心をもなぐさむるは歌なり

おに神

Most editions either do not provide a reading for 神, or they voice as おにがみ. Dictionaries also generally include the word as おにがみ. However, Takeoka indicates that there is no evidence for this reading -- just as あめつち is a compound "heaven and earth" and thus does not take rendaku, it seems that おに神 should be "demons and gods" and thus read unvoiced as おにかみ.
