toshi fure-ba              As the years advance
yowai wa oi-nu             I grow older in age
shika are-do               While that is the case
hana o shi mire-ba         When I see this flower
monoomohi mo nasi          I have no worries at all.

染殿そめどのの后きさきの御前に花瓶がめに桜の花をささせ給へるを見てよめる　

前太政大臣さきのおほきおほいまうちぎみ

年経れば齢は老いぬしかはあれど花をし見ればもの思ひもなし
